For anyone paying attention, I figured we might as well open up a talk page for commenting. King Speedy 11:28, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Someone should document the "controversy" over the Brothers in Arms expansion review. And of course the cousin banger. It made the main page after all. AnonymousOrc 18:50, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
The cousin banger was mainly a forum thing, and it wasn't as big as other debates that took place, like the Bush war. - yian
How about mentioning any E3-related activity the site has covered? Vgamer101 02:41, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Crave Online
What are the details on the that? 2lions hasn't said anything specific. I've labelled it "partnership", but that might not be very accurate. Is it an acquisition? --AnonymousOrc 12:20, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
It's only been referred to as a partnership (i.e. "joined the Crave Network") from what I've seen. My guess is that after the Plus! service was cancelled, another revenue source was needed. The changes to the site (layout, comment system, VotD) seem to still be shaking out, though, so I think it'd be wise to reserve judgement of the situation for a while.
ETA: Just noticed the "Movie News (Provided by ComingSoon.net)" on the left sidebar. Not sure if this was a recent addition or if its been there since the layout change. ComingSoon.net is one of the other members of the Crave Network, calling itself "The Crave Movie Channel". Any guesses on how long before ActionTrip becomes "The Crave Gaming Channel"? [edit] Plus!
Does anybody know whether this service still exists? For a time it was operational, then it was closed citing problems with credit card companies, now all links to sign up seem to have disappeared completely. Should the Plus! part of the article be removed if this is true? If I am blind and Plus! still does exist, I would be grateful if someone could provide the link. --Film11 16:35, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
As far as I know, Plus! is gone for good. I don't know if it was a problem with the billing company, if it wasn't being profitable, or some other problem, but as the article states, it hasn't been around for a few months now. I see no reason to remove the section, but I did clear up the wording associated with it. One of these days I'll start linking to specific posts that have to do with some of this stuff.
