Helloween je německá power/speed metalová skupina založená začátkem osmdesátých let 20. století v Hamburku. Prvním frontmanem se stal Kai Hansen, zpěvák a kytarista, který pak po rozchodu s Helloween v roce 1989 založil kapelu Gamma Ray. S Hansenem u mikrofonu nahráli Helloween EP Helloween a debut Walls of Jericho. V roce 1987 přišel do kapely zpěvák Michael Kiske, se kterým Helloween nahráli světoznámé desky Keeper of the Seven Keys Part 1 a 2. Po rozporuplném albu Chameleon Kiske odešel a z kapely byl nucen odejít i bubeník Ingo Schwichtenberg, který trpěl schizofrenií a v roce 1995 spáchal sebevraždu. Od roku 1994 je zpěvákem Andi Deris.
