All new pictures are provided with a fakamatala template, which includes a license. The photographer is not always known though. Most pictures, however, I consider not useful outside Tonga. Hello, Académie Tahitienne decide on its grammar to choose the quote close (’) to represente the glottal stop. At the Fare Vāna’a website's I found the list and the chosed form. Also, a tahitian friend said me that the quote close was the "official" form. So, these are my sources for the representation of the glottal stop.

My knowledge of reo tahiti is limited and I use simple texts. So, the easiest way was write articles of catalan places, because I have difficulties for the good transcription of the french polynesian islands in tahitian.

Yes, it is always the same person, and he is active on all wikis for far more than one year now. The best that you can do: Create a page like iu:Wikipedia:Protected pages and list all target pages there (using {{:name of the page}}) and protect that page to edit:sysop+move:sysop with the cascade option. He always comes to the same target pages as you might have noticed already. (Just go through the deletion log and look for MediaWiki talk pages and pages with names containing w/index.php.) And you should block the IPs (all of them) either. They are Open proxies and the Wikimedia policy is to not allow users from Open Proxies to edit. But please don't check the two boxes when blocking the IPs, so that users having an account can edit furthermore (for example people from PR China who are not allowed to access Wikipedia by law and who have to use Open Proxies to avoid state censorship). I like the traditions of the people, the king and of course the beautiful countryside. Another reason, why I like Tonga is that it is small and the people are nice to each other. In Tonga we do not care too much about licenses (yet). The picture came from the palaceoffice, which probably also does not know where it came from. The problem is... some wikis are very aggresive when someone "external" blocks, so I don't dare blocking for longer periods. On the other hand, it's not such a big problem for me, as I have a system that lets me travel all wikis in 15 minutes. I wanted to block for 1 year, but I didn't dare. Hi Tauʻolunga.

I see you have done great work on translating here for the Tongan language. Unfortunately these translations can only be used here. If you for example log in to the English Wikipedia, and change your user interface language to Tongan, you will not be able to use the translations made here. With other words, there are no translations for Tongan in the software.

But there is Betawiki where you can easily translate into any language. We have imported the translations made here to Betawiki so they will be usable on every wiki with this software, including all Wikipedia's. If you are going to do more translations, I want to invite you to do that on Betawiki, so those new translations are also on every wiki available.

Another advantage is that you can translate on Betawiki the namespaces (Talk, User, ...) and the special page names (Special:Recentchanges, Special:Userlogin, ...).

Have you seen the Hawaiʻi wikipedia? 99% of the articles are empty provinces of Spain. And what, pidgin now also? What more? Absolutely worthless. If you cannot put it a little bit more information which makes it worthwhile to look them up, it is better not to have them. What would you think of having the Spanish wikipedia full with hollow articles of Tongan placenames?

It seems to me that putting all wikipedias full with this type of articles is NPOV, a kind of inflated egoism, to which I shall not participate.

There is an article already: Siasi Māmonga, someone else may extend on it (mormons are good translators). Personally I find it terrible architecture, 19th century american, not fitting in Tonga.
