- Destroyers, 9,000 tons, are used against submarines.
- Frigates, 4,000 tons, are little destroyers.
- Submarines, 7,000 tons, are used against ships and submarines.
- Ballistic, 17,000 tons, are a new group of submarines that carry ballistic missiles that can be used against cities or other large targets that cannot move.
