Wikipedia:Naming conventions (technical restrictions)
From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change
Some article titles cannot be named correctly due to things the MediaWiki software can't do. For example, the first character is forced to be upper case.
Where you want to draw readers' attention to this, add something like this before the first paragraph of the article:
{{wrongtitle|title=Correct Title}}
Which will produce the text:
-
The title of this project page is wrong due to some limitations. The right title is {{{1}}}.
For a list of articles that are marked with this template, see Special:Whatlinkshere/Template:Wrongtitle.
To make the first letter lowercase (small), put this before the first paragraph:
- {{lowercase}}
Which will fix the title, like in iTunes.
