Divination
From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change
Divination (Greek μαντεια, from μαντις "seer") is the attempt of trying to get information by interpretation of omens or supposed supernatural event.
If a distinction is to be made between divination and fortune-telling, divination has a formal or ritual, usually in a religious context; while fortune-telling is a more everyday practice for personal things. Divination is said not to work by scientists, as said to be just superstition.
