Antenna
From the Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can change
An antenna or aerial is an electronic device made of metal. It is used to pick up or send radio and television signals. A radio or a television usually needs an antenna to work (unless there is some other way of picking up the signals like cable television).
Antenna is also the word used for the body parts of some insects which stick out on front of the insect. They are usually attached to the insect's head. They can be used to feel things in front of them, and sometimes, to smell things. The plural word (word for more than one) antenna on an insect is antennae. Most insects have two antennae.
