Moriori leid

Moriori is a Malayo-Polynesie leid maist naurly sib wi the Maori leid. It is the mither tongue o the Moriori, the indigenous fowk o the Chatham Islands.
Altho some sources list it as an extinct leid, there is some dout aboot this. Ither sources claim it is still spake bi a wheen o individuals in the Chathams an the mainland wi a great degree o fluency, an that maist Moriori ken the basics.
The Moriori name for the Chathams is "Rekohu".
