O videoclipe de E.S.P. é baseado na sua versão Early Fade. Nele, os Bee Gees aparecem no pano de fundo, cantando, enquanto é contada a história de um jovem que nasceu com a sombra independente de si. Todos que o viam ficavam espantados, já que nunca se via sua sombra. Ele crescia com essa angústia de não ter sombra. Foi perseguido, raptado na calada da noite e jogado num lugar qualquer. Quando acorda, encontra sua sombra, que, aparentemente, incorpora-lhe. Para ter certeza disso, o jovem começa a se mover, tentando provar que sua sombra estava consigo (com a trilha sonora do videoclipe, este momento acaba virando uma performance de dança). Então, ele vai ao encontro de sua garota, todavia, a sombra mostra a ele que ainda é independente beijando a garota por si só. Ao ficar parado olhando a sombra atuar, sua garota vai embora e ele fica sem fazer nada. Depois, pensativo sobre o seu próprio destino, vai para um parque, sentado sob uma árvore, tendo como fundo a agitada cidade, enquanto sua sombra resolve suas desavenças com os que o perseguiram, e vai ficar perto da garota que o jovem ama.
