[edit] Kurów

Could you please write a stub http://ny.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kur%C3%B3w - just a few sentences based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kur%C3%B3w ? Only 3-5 sentences enough. Please.

PS. Article about Kurów is already on 181 languages. If you do that, please put interwiki link into English version. If your village/town/city isn't yet on PL wiki, I can do article about it. (I'm first author of requests) Pietras1988 TALK 17:24, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

I'm not quite sure how to do that. Ineyo 12:09, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Interwiki links

Bwanji.
If you want to link Zambia to other wiki's then you use en:Zambia, which would give a link in the left column underneath Cite this article (you can see this in action at Zambia en the source code is at this place, the links being at the bottom of the page). You can also link in the text to another wikipedia like this :en:Zambia, which would look like this: en:Zambia. If you want to hide the en: or but something else that links there, you could write e.g. Zambian culture, which would yield: Zambian culture.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Zikomo kwambiri for the articles in Chichewa, I was getting desperate here ;-). I'm not speaking it myself, but for a few phrases I remember from my stay in Chipata. My wife, at the other hand, is a native speaker (chiNyanja/chiBemba), so that helps. [edit] Malawi lemma

Bwanji amudala.

I have hidden (syntax: <!-- hidden text -->) the headings on the Malawi page until you have added the content. Just remove the hiding tags when you are ready. Cheers. Lycaon 17:41, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Gratitude

Thankyou so much Ineyo for your brilliant translation help and effort!

May God bless you!

(In the future, if you ever need any articles to be translated into the Chinese or Taiwanese language, then I would gladly help you).

Yours Sincerely, from --Jose77 21:47, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] system messages

Bwanji Ineyo. Firstly, if you want to get things done, please ask me. I'm currently the only sysop here. Secondly, I saw your list on Jose77's talk page (btw, he can't do anything with that), and I have a problem with the length of most of your proposed translations. I appreciate that when some English words or expressions do not have an exact counterpart in Chichewa, you have to describe that part in several words. Nevertheless, this poses a problem as space in the navigational area is rather limited. So, could you please reword (i.e. shorten) those long expressions (although my wife tells me it is going to be difficult, we've had lengthy discussions on how to translate happy birthday in Chibemba :-) ). One of the most problematic translations at the moment is the one for navigation. Could you please look into this? Zikomo kwambiri. Lycaon 20:03, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

B.T.W. you can find all the messages that can(should) be translated on Special:Allmessages. Lycaon 20:09, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Administrator Application

Hi Ineyo!

I have nominated you for administrator here. Administrators are able to translate the interface messages. --Jose77 21:44, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] To Ineyo

Hi Ineyo. My name is António Pequeno and I'm portuguese. I would like to learn Chichewa. If you want you could teach me some, some hours a week. We could comunicate using msn. I wait for your answer. Please answer at my user page at: User:Cinyanja. Cheers. --23:42, 24 June

[edit] Welcome back

Bwanji waIneyo. Long time. Good to see you continuing your efforts. You haven't been able to rally some of your fellow countrymen/women to add content to this wikipedia yet? Greetings. Lycaon 15:06, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
