As I see, when you're copying articles from Romanian Wikipedia, you are talking about GFDL licence. Bt you're violating it - you don't write anywhere the source and the list of autors. - It doesn't matter what the pictures are and what feelings you might have about them, changing their content fully from the originially intended version is vandalism. Hi Node,
The only reason I pointed out Smirnov's errors in public is because I think he is a fraud. If he earnestly wishes to learn Romanian, he would have my admiration. I would not derison a user for making accidental errors in a language that is not their native tongue. However, Smirnov claims that Moldovan/Romanian is his native language. The mistakes he made, however, convinced me otherwise. Every sentence has a major mistake that would never have been made by a native speaker, regardless of whether he lived in Bucharest, Chisinau, or Tighina. His errors are fundmanental and grave, which convinces me that he is a poser who uses an online dictionary and claims to be a native speaker. And this is what I dislike about his behavior. E un lucru bun că un puşti de 16 ani ca tine se interesează de limba şi cultura părinţilor săi, dar acolo în America n-ai avut cele mai bune surse de informare (deşi au biblioteci bune americanii, ai putea găsi şi acolo informaţie cu puţin efort). Ar trebui să faci o vizită la Chişinău şi la Tiraspol, ca să înţelegi situaţia. La Chişinău, nimeni nu vorbeşte cum scrii tu sau cum se scrie aici pe Wikipedia moldovenească. Diferenţa faţă de română: "articole păziti" în loc de "pagini urmărite". Păi cum îs păzite, să nu fie furate? Translation: "Guarded articles" ("Moldovan" Wikipedia) or "Watched pages" (Romanian Wikipedia). Any Moldovan in Chişinău will tell you that correct variant is the one in Romanian Wikipedia. There are pages, not articles, as you can include in your watchlist also talk pages or user pages, not only articles. And those are watched (urmărite) not guarded (păzite).
În Tiraspol, dacă încerci să vorbeşti moldoveneşte public, în cel mai bun caz nu ţi se va răspunde, dar au fost şi cazuri cînd oamenii au fost luaţi la rost pentru simplul fapt că vorbeau moldoveneşte pe stradă. La Tiraspol, moldoveneasca este limba vrăjmaşului. Trebuie să mergi la Chişinău şi la Tiraspol să înţelegi, de pe internet nu poţi înţelege.
Eforturile tale de apărare a specificului moldovenesc împotriva moldovenilor înşişi, care nu se regăsesc în limba agramată folosită în această Wikipedie, slujesc unor interese politice care probabil nu le înţelegi. Au fost o mulţime de oameni care au ajuns în puşcărie în Moldova Sovietică fiindcă au cerut alfabet latin, iar în 1989 500000 de demonstranţi s-au adunat la Chişinău ca să ceară renunţarea la alfabetul chirilic. Iniţiativa asta de a face o wikipedie moldovenească chirilică îi jigneşte pe aceşti oameni. Ai observat deja că doar ruşii îţi acordă sprijin, moldovenii wikipedişti îi găseşti la WIkipedia românească (unde ar fi bine să contribui şi tu).--Mapiyc 23:58, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

I agree that the Soviets artificially changed aspects of Romanian when coding the official Moldovan version, however for better or for worse that's how the orthography is. I don't think Transnistria uses the ie version of the word either, as it is not necessary under the Cyrillic Moldovan alphabet where the letter е is more like the latin ie, for example iepure is also spelled епуре. For your information, the group "iu" at the end of "teritoriu" and "municipiu" is a diphthong, with i as its semivowel, not a hiatus. As such, the correct transliteration in Cyrillic is ю. But I don't expect you to understand this. You still have problems with the difference between simple vowels such as a and э -- see the way you write "Салут, ма нумеск Марк".
Calling me a liar is an obvious personal attack. But I've got used to that.
You want me to leave? And let you do what? You've been insulting those people who can really speak and read this language. So much so that you've been criticized in newspapers...
You know what? Actually there might be some people who want to write this Wikipedia in Cyrillic Romanian. For their sake I would even change my vote about deleting this project. But when they come here and see the things you've done chances are they run away in no time.
