[edit] Maori Wikibooks
There is a very small project called Maori Wikibooks. There is a vote to close the project or keep it open. If you want to close down Maori Wikibooks, you can vote "support". If you want to keep Maori Wikibooks open, you can vote "oppose". Also, if you write pages in the Maori language in the project, you can help keep it open. Please tell people about this in Maori.

[edit] Bahasa Melayu under Reo kē
You might want to Bahasa Melayu under Reo kē. It's a widely spoken Austronesian language and has more than 20,000 articles. So, it's the perfect time and great opportunity for it to be placed on the Maori main page. --124.183.222.67 01:16, 16 Kohi-tātea 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Maori translation needed
Hi guys. I'm actually a non-Maori speaker, but I'm just wondering if any of you would translate the following passages into Maori:
"Want to know about Malay? The Malay language is of Austronesian stock, spoken mainly in the Malay Archipelago of Southeast Asia namely the countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Southern Thailand, the Southern Philippines and even as far as Christmas Island in Australia. The language achieved the status of lingua franca in the region during the height of the Malaccan Sultanate in the 15th and 16th century. As of late the importance of Malay as a language is being noted worldwide."
Thanks for your attention. --124.183.222.67 01:20, 16 Kohi-tātea 2008 (UTC)
