Spearing Salmon By Torchlight, an oil painting by Paul Kane depicting Menominees spearfishing at night by torchlight and canoe on Fox River. Photo taken Jan 7 2006 at the Royal Ontario Museum. Minor tweaking with PhotoShop in order to make a level, squared image. Paul Kane died in 1871, therefore work is in the public domain.
