John Allen Astin es un actor y director de los Estados Unidos de América, nacido el 30 de marzo de 1930 en Baltimore, Maryland. Es famoso por haber interpretado a Homero Addams en The Addams Family. También sustituyó al actor Frank Gorshin como el villano Riddler en dos episodios de la serie de TV del Batman.
Actulamente está grabando la película llamada Starship II: Rendezvous with Ramses que se estrenará en el 2008, donde hace el personaje de Professor Peabody.
