[edit] Pictures

Hi Zonath,

I've been trying to help build the Cheongju page as I have just spent 2 years there and loved it. I have lots of pictures but don't know how to make them smaller and rotate them using wiki. Thanks for helping in this regard and hopefully you'll be willing to help with pictures in the future. if there are any pictures you want posted I probably have them so just tell me. I love taking pictures.

[edit] Hello

Hi Zonath,

Just wanted to say thanks for your many recent edits on Korea-related topics. Especially thanks for creating Gyeongju University. It made my day to find that someone else had made that article before I got around to it.  :-) Anyway, hope to see more of your work in the future. Happy editing!

Cheers,

Visviva

[edit] Re:Battle of Chongju

You might be right. I am not sure. "Chongju" might just be another word for "Cheongju". The best thing to do would be to look at a map. Good friend100 23:35, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

thank you for the edits. I appreciate it. Good friend100 01:40, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dokdo issue

I suggest ignoring Shougoki Wine. We're just fanning a fire and making the problem larger. In a short time admins or sysops will probably ban or block him. thanks. Good friend100 01:47, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New vote over Sea of Japan edit

Hi, I've started a new vote with the proposal I outlined beforehand. I would appreciate it if you could head on over to the talk page and vote. Thanks, John Smith's 14:52, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Consultation

I am here to consult and inform you that I am a negotiator with Ypacarai on Talk:Tsushima Island. Looking at User talk:YpacaraĆ, he dismissed my discussion as crap.

I am discussing the matter on his behalf of the interest on this topic. Had I not considered his part of his interest, we could have reverted without consulting him. Furthermore, I have highlighted that his action has violated one of wikipedia's policy. And I am discussing it so as to convince him and not engage in an edit war. We could have reverted without him in this case.

Should I proceed by giving him a harsh warning by stressing the purpose of the discussion, or promptly just ignore him? I"ll take the first route, but please give me your fullest advices if you think it's necessary. Do take a look at the talk page of Tsushima Island. Cheers! Mr Tan 05:07, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Korea under Japanese rule

Thanks for reverting the stupidities inserted by the anonymous user in this article. I appreciate that. Shogo Kawada 19:16, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] HappyApple contact

Hi, Zonath i have been noticed by user:KiteString that you are involved in Korea-related articles and i have found an issue regarding copyright infringement which may gather your attention.

There are a couple of images uploaded by user:Good friend100 that they were tagged as copyright infringement, but i think that they can adequately be claimed fair use and subsecuently stay and keep in Wikipedia, and those are : Image:Okpo.jpg ,Image:Chinju.jpg, Image:Noryang.jpg, by following this link and scrolling down with your mouse and finding the images mentioned, you can post your oppinions and state your position on whether to "delete" or "keep" the images, you can call other collaborators you know, and they can post their impressions too, on delete or keep.

Those images are really good and highly descriptive for the series of events related to Imjin Wars, and i believe we can save these images if the other editors you know (i.e. Korean collaborators that may have work with you) can contribute on their oppinions choosing keep in the ongoing discussion at images in comment upon removal. As a reader, personally, I feel that these images are really great and it would be a pitty if they are just "speedied" by stating that they are not "iconic" (in the sense of less representative to this conflict) as user:Kusunose and user:LactoseTIsuggests. I think that the Imjin Wars or the Seven Year's War was a major conflict in East Asian History which can adequately claim fair use on those images.

I hope that you could left your impressions soonly on (Image:Okpo.jpg ,Image:Chinju.jpg,Image:Noryang.jpg), before the administrator gives the veredict. Cheers,--HappyApple 07:02, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi

Hi Zonath,

Thanks for your work in keeping order in various Korea-related hotspots. Don't let the edit warriors get you down... Anyway, I wanted to invite you over to Wikipedia:WikiProject Korea if you're interested. You might be particularly interested in the housekeeping group, although then again you might not.  :-) Happiness, -- Visviva 15:23, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dokdo naming dispute

Hey Zonath, another Dokdo naming dispute has arisen, & RM has taken place. Please check archive for previous discussions & pariticipate in the vote. Thanks. I'm also going to note all others who participated in the previous poll. (Wikimachine 18:21, 21 May 2007 (UTC))
