Zhongshan Park (Shanghai Metro)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Zhongshan Park (Chinese: 中山公园; pinyin: Zhōshān Gōngyuán) is the name of a transfer station on the Shanghai Metro, named after Shanghai's largest park which is located nearby.
The station is the current western terminus of Line 3 and a station on Line 2 and Line 4. It was the western terminus of Line 2 until December 30, 2006, when the first four stations of the planned western extension to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport were opened.
This station is also one of the only stations to have a store inside the station, the Silver Fruit bakery, which is in the interchange passage between Line 2 and Line 3/Line 4.
