Zhang Xuan

Zhang Xuan (Chinese: 張萱; pinyin: Zhāng Xuān; Wade-Giles: Chang Hsüan) (713-755) was a Chinese painter who lived during the Tang Dynasty.
Although he painted many pieces of art, he was best known for the painting Court Ladies Preparing Newly-Woven Silk, of which no copy survives except a copy painted by Emperor Huizong of Song in the early 12th century.
