Zachary John Finger (born 06:00 UT, 11 November 1987), also recognized by the pseudonym Zeta, is an amateur cartoonist and web designer who has self-published one full issue of a comic book series and whose political cartoons have been published by the Arizona Daily Star. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in studio art (with a focus on graphic design) from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.

[edit] Early Life
Finger was born in Pasadena, California, but when he was only a toddler his family moved to Huntsville, Alabama after his father accepted a position with NASA's local Marshall Space Flight Center. Most of his childhood elapsed in the city of Huntsville, where he attended a private school and developed a habit for creative activity. At a young age he began to write and illustrate his own comic books, often deriving or even outright plagiarizing his plots from professional sources of fiction.
After his parents' divorce in 1998, Finger moved with his mother to the suburban northwest of Tucson, Arizona, where he lived during the academic year, spending his summers with his father in Huntsville. During this period of time, Finger became interested in computers. He experimented with digital photo editing, computer animation, web development, and programming. He continued work on his comics as well, writing and illustrating several cartoons for his school paper. His personal comic books began to evolve into graphic novels with more complex and original writing and illustrations.

During his adolescence, Finger began to become a frequently published editorial cartoonist in a local periodical named the Arizona Daily Star. His cartoons, which expressed a passionately liberal viewpoint, were met with both praise and controversy locally.
At the time of his graduation from local public secondary school Canyon Del Oro High School in the year 2006, he begun work on creating websites to publish his graphic novels, having already experimented greatly in the area of web administration and design.

During his first year at the University of Arizona he secured a position as a web master in a small university department. Also during this time he independently wrote, illustrated, and published issue number zero of his comic series 4Jurassic4Park, based upon the rumored premise of the upcoming fourth film of the Jurassic Park movie series. Also in his first year he met his romantic partner Amy Lustro, who is pursuing a degree in art education. The couple plans to live together in the Pacific Northwest after obtaining a civil union.
Currently Finger is engaged with self-publishing his comic books, maintaining his website and working toward his graduation.

Finger is best described as an Empirical Ignostic but subscribes to Secular Humanist values and the Unitarian Universalist faith. A member of the Arizona Green Party, he stands on the left side of the political spectrum, favoring socialist economic principles and progressive social policies.
