May I ask why you reverted my edit? I would like very much to see an article on the Off-Monroe Players. I'm sure you had a good reason but it wasn't in the edit summary.. - I did not revert your edit. I changed a red link (one that points to a non-existent article) to an external link pointing to the web site of the Off-Monroe Players. As Sam Silvers pointed out when he reverted your restoration of the red link, the production itself may not be "notable" in the sense used in Wikipedia. I am inclined to agree. We do not, after all, list all amatuer productions of ANY theatrical work. I will see the production on Saturday and reach a firmer conclsion on notability then, but I will probably remove the reference entirely if it is still there on Sunday. (I could see some value in a mention while it was the next available performance. Once it is done, however...)
- As to an article on the OMP, you might start one. Perhaps I will. But again, the question of notability arises. Articles should be based on published sources, and the better ones are based on something other than the subject's own self-descriptive web site. But the OMP web site is probably the only available published source on this group. Pzavon 03:02, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
