Yvonne B. Miller (born July 4, 1934 in Edenton, North Carolina) is an American politician and Democratic State Senator who represents the 5th Senatorial District of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Her district includes parts of Norfolk, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach.
Miller served in the Virginia House of Delegates from 1984 until 1988. In 1988, she became the first African-American woman elected to the Senate. She is currently the longest serving woman in the Virginia Senate. Miller was also the first woman to chair a Senate committee in 1996.

Miller was educated at the Norfolk Division of Virginia State College where she received her B.S. degree at the Teacher's College. Miller attended Columbia University for her M.A. and the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her Ph.D. Miller worked as a professor and head within the Department of Early Childhood/ Elementary Education. Retired as an educator in 1999 and she became Professor Emeritus of Norfolk State University. Miller is a life member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
