Youth on the March was an early American television program originally broadcast on ABC. The series ran from 1949 to 1958. It was a religious program hosted by Reverend Percy Crawford. The series was aired "by most of [ABC's] eleven affiliates".[1] In each episode, Crawford, his wife Ruth, and their five children appeared. The series was broadcast live from Philadelphia's WFIL.[2]
When Youth on the March was cancelled by ABC in 1952, the series was picked up by the now defunct DuMont Television Network for a one-season run. The last network-aired program was on June 7, 1953.[2] The series continued to air in first-run syndication over a handful of stations until 1958.[1]
