Yoshito Sengoku

Yoshito Sengoku (仙谷 由人? born January 15, 1946) is a Japanese politician serving in the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) as a member of the Democratic Party of Japan. A native of Tokushima, Tokushima and drop-out of the University of Tokyo, he was elected for the first time in 1990 as a member of the Japan Socialist Party. He passed the bar exam when still in college and began a practice in 1971.
