York Lions

The York Lions is the official name for the athletic varsity teams that representing York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The logo features a red lion from the school's logo.
York's former teams were known as the York Yeomen and York Yeowomen, but changed their name to the gender-neutral Lions in 2003.
The baseball team has reeled off two winning seasons (2004 and 2005) and were runner ups in last years National Championship [1]. The baseball players must pay to play year in and year out. It is unclear when the team will be granted financial aid, but currently struggle to field a team every year due to financial restrictions.
