The Yellow-bellied Brush-furred Rat (Lophuromys luteogaster) is a species of rodent in the Muridae family. It it found in Republic of the Congo and Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and plantations .
