[edit] Not the Full Episode Title

On Comedy Central's website, there was a "..." at the end of the episode title. So, there is more to it. When we find out about it, should we just link it's wiki page to this shortened version? The full title should be revealed shortly after "A Tale of Two Cows airs. --Evildevil 21:33, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

It might be the full title, it just ends with "...". Either way, we can probably rename the page when we find out the exact title, then either fix the links on the pages that link to it, or just set up a redirect. Unless the title turns out to be something really long and unwieldy, in which case I'd favor leaving the page and links like they are and just adding a note to the episode's page about its full title.Raymondluxuryacht 21:47, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

The ellipsis was simply used as part of the title, in reference to the chant that continues 'k-i-s-s-i-n-g', not that there was more to the actual episode title.--Jeffro77 08:33, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

When Xandir emphasizes how good the sex was with Tim, he sounds a lot like the Martin Short character Jiminy Glick.

Neither do I, but admittedly my knowledge of Glick isn't as wide as other people's. Since the connection appears as questionable as it does, it might be better to remove it.Raymondluxuryacht 00:56, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 'Aliens' reference in Trivia section

Regarding the item, "When Spanky returns to the Drawn Together house, Foxxy climbs up the wall, twists her head back, and hisses and says, "Sucker". The hissing is a reference to the movie Aliens." Both the method of climbing the wall and the hissing would appear to actually be a reference to a vampire rather than to 'Alien'.--Jeffro77 08:33, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

I'll admit, I didn't quite get what the scene was referring to myself, and I'm still not completely clear on it. The Aliens explanation sounded plausible to me, but I'm certainly open to other explanations. The "sucker" part I assumed was a reference to blaxploitation films, but I'm not certain on that one either.Raymondluxuryacht 08:45, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

There's definetly a big reference about "fight club" in this episode. Hero being Jack (Edward Norton) and Tim being Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) the other side of Jack in the movie. At the end of the movie Jack shoots himself killing Tyler (that was the only way to make him dissapear). I don't remember the whole movie but anyone who saw this episode of Drawn Together and Fight Club will see the match in the history. Someone confirm and edit, please.

"This episode, like all Season Two episodes of Drawn Together, is available for download at the iTunes Store. However, it is noticeably shorter than the other episodes. (It runs 18 minutes 26 seconds, while most of the other episodes are over 21 minutes.)"

I just downloaded this episode from the iTunes Store and the episode was over 21 minutes with all scenes from television broadcast included. This section of controversy should be removed.

[edit] "I'm hideous"

After Tim is "beaten up" by Captain Hero, Tim says, "Look away, I'm hideous." This is a quote from the Seinfeld episode "The Abstinence", said by Kramer after his face is deformed by cigarette smoke.

Whilst this is true, I think this more directly based on the scene in The Elephant Man in which John Hurt exclaims something like "Don't look at me, I'm hideous." Or at least, Kramer's line was based on The Elephant Man, if Tim/Hero's is then based on Kramer. It's also noticeable that the large bulbous bruises on the side of Tim/Hero's face bear a passing resemblance (though much less severe) to Merrick's facial deformities as depicted by Hurt. I don't have a copy of the movie to check the exact line and physical similarity though. Cheers, DWaterson 11:34, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

You're probably right. If he says something like that in The Elephant Man, I'm sure THAT'S the direct source of the reference, and consequently that's what should be in the article. Probably another case of two sources referencing the same thing, so people assume one is a reference to the other.Raymondluxuryacht 16:13, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Storyline second sentence

The second sentence of the plot summary is currently worded as, "Xandir is annoyed, but agrees to do so, but when Tim shows up, Xandir becomes even more irritated." I don't think that's quite correct. Xandir refuses point blank to go along with Hero's request to look after Tim, but when Tim arrives, Xandir doesn't really have much choice in the matter and goes along with it reluctantly, even though he can see it's likely to be another insane scheme. How about, "Xandir is annoyed and initially refuses to help, but when Tim shows up, Xandir reluctantly plays along." Cheers, DWaterson 12:55, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

During Spanky Ham's return monolog, a voice comes in from behind the fourth wall with the sarcastic comment "But other shows don't suck!". I may be crazy, but doesn't that voice sound a little like Errol Morris commenting from behind the Interrotron?
