[edit] Trivia

In spite of all the awards won by the film, the producers of the film did not succeed in qualify the movie as a French one because the actors were not speaking enough French words in the dialogues. The French cinematic authorities counted out the words spoken in the film finding out there were 41 French words lacking. The failure to qualify as a French movie pushed the producing company Dulciné Films to file for bankruptcy.
