Vazelon Monastery is located in Maçka district, Trabzon Province, Turkey. The exact building date of the monastery is not known. Some researches guess that is between 270-317 AD. After is was repaired by the order of the Emperor Justinian in 565, it has been repaired a lot of times until today [1]. Vazelon Monastery had been a very important figure of Maçka's religious, cultural and economical lives. It is said that Sümela Monastery was built by the income of Vazelon Monastery was the richest of the region. The frescoes thart are on the north outer walls of the church, the Heaven, Hell and the Last Judgement, still bear their beautifulness. This monastery that was dedicated to prophet Judas, was abandoned with expelled to Greece.
