Template:Uw-aiv
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If they continue to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you!
Usage:
{{subst:uw-aiv}}
{{subst:uw-aiv|Username}}
references a specific username{{subst:uw-aiv|Username|Additional text}}

- Please discuss the general visual appearance of these templates (for example, the image in the top-left corner) on the user warning talk page.
- Please refer to the index of message templates before using any template on user talk pages to warn a user. Applying the best template available for your purpose may help reduce confusion from the message you are sending.
- Please remember to substitute the template using

to the end of the template to reduce the code in the final output:
{{subst:uw-aiv|Username|Additional text|subst=subst:}}
- This should however only be done if you use the Article parameter of the template. There is a currently investigated bug on the MediaWiki software that breaks the template if you omit this parameter and use
