Utah County Academy of Sciences (UCAS, pronounced you-kass) is a small charter high school in association with UVSC (Utah Valley State College soon to be UVU or Utah Valley University) in Orem, Utah. Students go to UCAS from many school districts in the surrounding area including Nebo School District, Alpine School District, and Provo School District.
This school is located on UVSC campus and classes are a mix of college classes and high school graduation requirements.
UCAS was created along with 6 similar schools by former Governor of Utah Michael Leavitt.
The school does not have any formal sports, or driver's education program. It does, however, contain a functioning choir, Student Government, Yearbook Staff, Writing club, and Multicultural Association in addition to all associations affiliated with UVSC.
