Uschi Glas (born Helga Ursula Glas March 2, 1944) is a German film and television actress.

Born in Landau, Bavaria, Glas started appearing in films as early as 1965. Her breakthrough role was that of Barbara in the unconventional Zur Sache, Schätzchen (Go for It, Baby) (1968), which captured the spirit of the times in that it presented youthful protest against the German Establishment and hinted at the loosening of morals in the wake of the Sexual Revolution.

For decades, the tabloid press would refer to Glas as "Schätzchen" although, starting already in 1968 and lasting into the mid-1970s, Glas's career took a sharp turn towards the trivial. She appeared in countless slapstick movies, many of them set at a German gymnasium, playing the older sister of a student named Pepe Nietnagel (performed by actor Hansi Kraus) who keeps playing nasty tricks and practical jokes on his helpless teachers. This seven-part motion picture series (1967-72) was collectively named "Die Lümmel von der ersten Bank" ("The Brats from the First Benchrow").

In the 1980s and 1990s Glas concentrated on her television work, appearing in a succession of TV series tailored to her person, playing, among other characters, the ideal teacher (Sylvia - Eine Klasse für sich), an energetic businesswoman (Anna Maria - Eine Frau geht ihren Weg), and a veterinarian (Tierärztin Christine). She also appeared in many feature-length made-for-TV movies.

Glas married Bernhard Tewaag in 1981. The couple has three children, Benjamin (born 1976), Alexander, and Julia. In 2003, however, Glas's life was shattered by Tewaag's leaving her for a younger woman and filing for divorce. On top of that, she is full of sorrow about her son Benjamin, who fills the German tabloids with stories about alcohol excesses.

In 2004 Glas published a memoir, Mit einem Lächeln (With a Smile). In October 2005 she married entrepreneur Dieter Hermann.
