[edit] Summary
This SVG chart is a replacement for Image:Population of the United States, 1790-2000.png. I created it by hand in Notepad. The reference points were obtained from official United States Census data; 1790 to 1990 data was found here, and 2000 data was found here. In order to avoid dropping the graph off, or cutting off a portion of the labeling, I used the estimated 2010 figures to fill in the last row. Of course, in 2010, this can easily be changed to reflect the actual census results.
