To be honest, I'm not really fond of Wikis and I'm not very optimistic about this site concerning knowledge of consequence. Wikipedia is most useful for topics where individual presentation is secondary and inaccuracy is hard to defend (mathematics, for instance), or for extremely detailed but aimless pop culture articles where debate is a pointless waste of time.
I contribute to the latter.
I understand that there's some sort of Wikipedia 'community' too, and you can put little tags on your user page to indicate that you are a left-handed anime-loving Jew with Aspergers. If there is anything that could possibly diminish this site's credibility more than this, I'm very curious as to what it is.
