[edit] Notability
- Schools are in general notable, you'll find that precedent has held most decently sized schools are given articles (at 900, this is certainly a large school). Wikipedia is not a paper encyclopedia, the article does assert notability and there is no reason why it shouldn't be kept. -- Chabuk [ T • C ] 00:01, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

- Precedent is not uniform on schools, see Wikipedia:Watch/schoolwatch/Schools_for_deletion_archive. Anyway, precedent doesn't set policy (see "This is not policy" at the top of WP:AFDP). Even if all large school articles have been kept, this does not, and cannot, mean that there is consensus that all large schools are notable. Notability means what it says at WP:N, and there's no sign this school meets that. Pan Dan 17:42, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- This School should meet the notability requirement, as it is one of the largest Solomon Schechter Day Schools in North America and fits perfectly in the category of Conservative Day Schools, as similar schools, even of smaller sizes have been kept.
