I guess the column pewter means just the 4th rank. However is there indeed a pewter medal? Does that mean a certain qualification? ...or why is it listed here? Can somebody please explain this to me? Thank you Uwe Langer (talk) 17:46, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- The US Nationals podium has four steps: 1st (gold), 2nd (silver), 3rd (bronze), and 4th (pewter). The fourth place finisher receieves a pewter medal and is called the pewter medalist. Here are last year's pairs medalists. Amanda Evora (on the left) has a pewter medal. And here's the junior men's podium with all four medals visible. Kolindigo (talk) 22:33, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
