I wonder if the Ultimate comics will ever have a version of this. It could be the UltimateUltimate Nullifier. Or the Ultimate2Nullifier

  • It's possible this is how Reed will try and defeat Gah-Lak-Tus -- draining all the heat energy from an alternate reality to use as a super-weapon against it (which would unfortunately 'nullify' the universe from which the energy was taken). Dr Archeville 12:22, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Neat, looks like I guessed right (sorta)! Dr Archeville 19:38, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
      • Even if it is one HELL of a lot wussier...

[edit] Fear?

"It is the only known weapon in the universe capable of inspiring fear in Galactus, as shown when Reed Richards threatened to use it in defense of the planet Earth." Yet: "Galactus demonstrated the ability to effortlessly recall the Nullifier to himself at will, even from the grasp of Abraxas, the universal embodiment of destruction." So why would he ever be afraid of it in somebody else's possession? Is there some other key plot point that hasn't been added, or is this just another of the many gaping consistency holes comic books tend to spawn? --Mr. Billion 03:24, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

I'd go with "inconsistencies." Dr Archeville 12:29, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
I was tempted to add that to the article proper. Also, Archeville, check me on what exactly it did when first released. I seem to recall that it would kill Richard too. User: MitchellTF

As it has been suggested that the power of the nullifier is an extention of Galactus or Oblivion, who transacts on a comparible power level i think "fear" is too strong a word, I wouls suggest "respect" as more in the correct flavour.--Princekilderkin (talk) 17:59, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Infinity Gauntlet

"it is the only known weapon in the universe capable of inspiring fear in Galactus."

What about the Infinity Gauntlet? Galactus was powerless against Thanos when he had it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.86.10.124 (talk) 20:36, 4 April 2007 (UTC).

I still consider "fear" too strong. Galactus agreed his power was exceded by the gems, and other things in the MU, however i have only seen the word fear used in relation to the black celestial in the recent eternals series. Even here one could easily interpret the use as a fear of the consequences of the celstials awakening not fear of its actual power.--Princekilderkin (talk) 18:02, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:UltimateNullifier.jpg

Image:UltimateNullifier.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
