Ugarchin (Bulgarian: Угърчин) is a town located in the Lovech Province in North-Central Bulgaria. The town of Ugarchin is the administrative center of the Municipality of Ugarchin which includes twelve villages. It is located 35 kilometers east of the city of Lovech. The Kamenitza river runs through the town of Ugarchin.
The Ugarchin town holiday takes place every year on March 22nd, and the Traditional Autumn Fair is every Sept 22nd.
The President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov visited the town of Ugarchin on March 22nd, 2006 for the Traditional Football Tournament.
The villages include Dragana, Golets, Kalenik, Katunets, Kirchevo, Kirkova mahala, Lesidren, Mikre, Orlyane, Slavshitsa, Sopot, and Vasilkovska mahala.

Ugarchin is situated in the northern part of the Balkans before the high peaks and down the river Kamenitza and it’s small tributaries: Lepetora, Sveta, Greshki Dol and others. It is situated in a basin rounded with small hills: Ivan Dial hill from the south; Visokata Mogila (Chukara) from the east; from the north are Beli Kamuk, Sredno Burdo and Zabiti Kamukhills; and from the west are Goli Rut and Chukata.
