Uganda competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. Uganda's best achievement was Boniface Kiprop's fourth place in the men's 10000 metres.

Uganda sent five boxers to the Athens Olympics. Four of them lost their first bout, with Sam Rukundo winning both of the team's victories and advancing to the quarterfinal before being defeated.
