UGA Campus Transit

The University of Georgia Campus Transit system operates nine weekday routes, two night routes, and one weekend route on the campus and vicinity of the University. Campus Transit has an average daily ridership of 29,898, giving it the largest volume of passengers of any university transit system in the United States.[1]

- Ag Hill
- Russell Hall and West Campus Parking Deck, Oglethorpe House, Rutherford Hall, Biological Sciences, Statistics, Tucker Hall, East Village Commons, Ramsey Center, Visitor's Center, East Campus Parking Deck.
- East Campus
- Southbound: Human Resources, Tanner Building, Tucker Hall, East Village Commons, Ramsey Center, Visitor's Center, Intramural Fields.
- Northbound: East Campus Parking Deck, Georgia Museum of Art, Tucker Hall, Psychology-Journalism, Lamar Dodd School of Art.
- East-West
- Northern Loop: Creswell Hall, Wray Street, Arch, Main Library, Park Hall, Florida Avenue/Government Relations, Bolton Dining Commons, Russell Hall.
- Southern Loop: Oglethorpe House, Rutherford Hall, Soule Hall, Georgia Center, Stegeman Coliseum, Aderhold Hall, East Village Commons, Ramsey Center, Visitor's Center, East Campus Parking Deck, Georgia Museum of Art, returning to Aderhold Hall and back the same route from there.
- Family Housing
- Family Housing building J; Studio 51 apartments; Brandon Oaks; Carousel Apartments; Jamestown Apartments; Family Housing buildings S, R, and P; Rogers Road; East Campus Drive; Aderhold Hall; Miller Plant Sciences; Stegeman Coliseum; Snelling Dining Commons; Soule Hall; Physics; Memorial Hall; Park Hall; Gilbert Hall; Arch; Multi-Modal Transportation Center (Athens Transit terminal); Main Library; Psychology-Journalism; returning to Tate Center (opposite Memorial Hall) and back the same route from there to East Campus Drive.
- Milledge Avenue
- Northern Loop: Arch, Main Library, Park Hall, Gilbert Hall.
- Main Stem: Broad Street Studios, Milledge Avenue between Broad St. and Five Points.
- Southern Loop: E. Rutherford St., Rutherford Hall, Soule Hall, Georgia Center, Lumpkin St. at Five Points.
- North-South
- Family Housing Building G, Driftmier Engineering Center, College of Veterinary Medicine, Stegeman Coliseum, Snelling Dining Commons, Soule Hall, Physics, Memorial Hall, Lamar Dodd School of Art, Human Resources, Tanner Building, Lot N08, Psychology-Journalism, returning to Tate Center (opposite Memorial Hall) and back the same route from there to Agriculture Drive.
- Orbit
- Northern Loop: Park Hall, Gilbert Hall, Arch, Main Library, Psychology-Journalism.
- Main Stem: Tate Center, Physics, Biological Sciences, Statistics, Tucker Hall.
- Southern Loop: East Village Commons, Ramsey Center, Visitor's Center, Intramural Fields, East Campus Parking Deck, Georgia Museum of Art.
- River's Crossing
- Campus Loop: Aderhold Hall, Miller Plant Sciences, Stegeman Coliseum, Snelling Dining Commons, Soule Hall, Biological Sciences, Statistics, Tucker Hall.
- Main Stem: Family Housing Building J, Intramural Fields, Applied Genetic Technologies, Riverbend Research Labs, Campus Mail, Complex Carbohydrate Research Center, Vehicle Transportation and Maintenance, River's Crossing.
- Russell Hall
- Russell Hall/West Campus Parking Deck, Oglethorpe House, Rutherford Hall, Physics, Memorial Hall, Lot N08, Tanner Building, Main Library, Park Hall, Bolton Dining Commons.
- Night and Intersession Routes
- East-West also operates as a night route, extending to Riverbend Parkway, and as the Intersession Silver route. Family Housing also operates as a night route, extending to South Milledge Avenue and Riverbend Road, and as the Intersession Red route.
- Weekender
- Northern Loop: Park Hall, Gilbert Hall, Arch, Main Library, Psychology-Journalism.
- Main Stem: Tate Center, Physics, Rutherford Hall, Oglethorpe House, Russell Hall/West Campus Parking Deck, Oglethorpe House, Rutherford Hall, Soule Hall, Georgia Center, Stegeman Coliseum, Aderhold Hall, East Village Commons, Ramsey Center, Visitor's Center, extending on-call to Family Housing and Riverbend Parkway.
Campus Transit buses run on a 20% biodiesel fuel mixture.[2]
