'Swallowed' is a song by British grunge rock band Bush. It was included on the 1996 album Razorblade Suitcase, which topped the Billboard 200 chart. It was later included on the remix album Deconstructed, the live album Zen X Four, and the Bush greatest hits compilation. It was nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance at the 1996 Grammy Awards, but lost to the Smashing Pumpkins' "The End Is The Beginning Is The End".

"Swallowed" was released as the first single from the follow up to their massively successful debut album, Sixteen Stone which was released two years earlier. Upon release, the song topped the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks for a consecutive 7 weeks. This is the longest Bush ever stayed at number 1. Although it was a major hit upon release, (possibly Bush's biggest), the song has largely disappeared from radio playlists around the globe, while songs like "Glycerine," and "Comedown" still receive regular airplay^{[citation needed]}.

It was also Bush's biggest hit in their native Britain, where it peaked at number 7 in the UK Singles Chart.

Razorblade Suitcase and Bush were criticised by Rolling Stone calling them the "Bon Jovi" of Grunge"^[1].
