Born in Edinburgh in 1981. Went to schools in Sheffield, followed by two years at Barlborough Hall School, before coming to Filey.
At 16, studied Art & Design at Yorkshire Coast College, then Fine Art at University of Hull, Scarborough Campus.
Worked at North Yorkshire County Council, then The Old Chapel, Robin Hood's Bay. Now at Scarborough Borough Council.
