SuperNews! is a short form animated television series which airs on Current TV. It was created and is written by Josh Faure-Brac. The show is primarily based on political humor and popular culture satire. Frequent characters include animated interpretations of such mainstream figures as President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, political advisor Karl Rove, and Senator John Kerry, as well as various pop-culture icons and celebrities. Episodes are also available for viewing on the official website, along with behind the scenes content.

Josh Faure-Brac created the pilot for SuperNews! in 2005 which was developed to appear with the launch of the new cable network Current TV. Josh then partnered with Steven K. L. Olson and the two of them created all of the art and animation for the show from August, 2005 to May, 2006.
On May 11, 2006 Dustin McLean joined the team as artist/animator/composer. They created 17 episodes as a three-person team with the help of freelance lip sync and freelance sound design.
Additional team members were eventually hired in quick succession. On April 16, 2007 David Johnston joined the team as an animator. On May 1, 2007 André Nguyen joined the team as an animator. (He had previously been doing freelance lipsync and inbetween animation.) On June 12, Martín Carillo joined the team as sound designer. (He had previously been the freelance sound designer.)
