Suomen huippumalli haussa (English: Searching for Finland's Top Model) is a Finnish television reality show based on America's Next Top Model. The show first aired on Sunday, 6 April 2008 from 20.00 to 21.00 on the Finnish channel Nelonen. The show is produced by FremantleMedia. The winner for cycle one, Ani Alitalo, was awarded a €25,000 contract with Paparazzi Model Management, the front cover of Finnish Cosmopolitan and became a spokesperson for Max Factor. Cycle two will begin filming in autumn 2008 for airing in spring 2009[1].

Much like ANTM, there are at least 12 contestants with an elimination at the end of each episode. Double elimination is also possible. Also like the original show, the contestants receive sporadic "Anne mail" (Annepostia or posti Annelta) with clues about the upcoming challenges. There are guest judges, both Finnish and international. Elimination is done in the same way as on ATNM with a bottom two and Anne Kukkohovi’s reasons for the two.
[edit] Differences between ANTM and Suomen huippumalli haussa
Unlike on ANTM, there are few reward challenges, cycle one only having two, or challenges with winners, but no reward. There are also far more photo shoots on Suomen huippumalli haussa, usually two per episode. In cycle one, the group goes to Stockholm and Turkey, but there is no major fashion event where the finalists participate in a runway show. Unlike on ANTM, where a runway show helps in determining the winner, usually abroad, there is no runway show on Suomen huippumalli haussa in the final decision. The final decision is based solely on the contestants’ photo portfolio.
