Wikipedia has a "no original research" policy which does makes sense, but where should I publish original things for later publication in wikipedia? Would it suffice if I do it through the academic world? Or is there an even simpler way? (Wikipedia does publish compiled information on things like movies, music and comics; this compiled information is hardly first published as university papers.) I'm mainly a wikipedia reader, only once in a while writing stuff and fixing stuff. I used to do this while not logged in, but I've gotten an account now and will try to use it. My main interest is simple rephrasings of sentences here and there. I'll (sentence intentionally left unfinished)

(I try to keep it NPOV on wikipedia (I have other outlets for subjective rants) and I can generally be reasoned with if you have a bit of patience.)
- is vegetarian (no eggs or dairy either)
- knows how to program
- total free software zealot
- likes scheme
- knows a little about very many programming languages
- likes feminism, lgbt, and other nice progressive things usually dismissed as "political correctness"
- anarchist (of the kind that's sceptical towards religion, state, capitalism, corporations and the market economy)
- likes comics; both superheroes and the other stuff
- strongly dislikes commercial advertising
