Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (July 17, 1988) is an American television and movie actress. She was born in Pasadena, California.

Summer and her family moved to Saudi Arabia when she was three, when her father was offered a job there in banking. Two years later, the family moved to the small island Kingdom of Bahrain, where Summer and her brother attended the only Department of Defense school in the Middle East. In 2003, Summer along with her brother and their mother returned to southern California. In love with the idea of becoming an actress since the age of three, Summer started pursuing her dream.

In 2006, Bishil was chosen to play the lead in Alan Ball's new film, Towelhead, an adaptation of the novel of the same name. She recently completed filming Wayne Kramer's new project, "Crossing Over," starring Harrison Ford, Sean Penn, Ray Liotta and Ashley Judd. Recently Bishil has been chosen by Variety as one of the 10 Actors to watch. Variety Oct 19, 2007.
