Sugarloaf Ridge State Park

Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is a state park in northern California, U.S.A.. Located in the Mayacamas Mountains north of Kenwood, the park straddles the boundary between Sonoma and Napa counties. The 2,729 feet (832 m) Bald Mountain and the headwaters of Sonoma Creek are located in the park, as are the Robert Ferguson Observatory and a 25-foot (8 m) tall seasonal waterfall.
The ridge has two main peaks, West (1630 Ft.) and East (1686 Ft.). The East peak contains an extensive microwave antenna array which is rumored to be under the command and control of the United States Government and utilized in a Continuity of Government communications system.[citation needed] Several of the dishes point directly at Santa Rosa, CA where AT&T is said to provide secure communications links for government use. This site was featured in several articles of the Napa Valley Sentinel. It has also been connected with the increasing sightings of many unmarked black helicopters flying in the Napa area. The helicopters are assumed to be delivering supplies and equipment to the site,[citation needed] as the road leading to the site is very steep dirt road in poor condition which would be unsuitable for the conveyance of heavy equipment such as generators and large diameter antennas.
