Sudsy Monchik

Sudsy Monchik (born October 12, 1974), is an American racquetball player. As a 5-Time Pro World Champion, Monchik is considered by many to be the greatest player in the history of the sport. He is sometimes known as the king of racquetball.
Sudsy's return in 2006, brought shouts and exclamations of joy and gladness from many old, young and semi-retired people. One fan remarked that, "Sudsy's return is...not the thing I was hoping for, it was better." Indeed, Sudsy's glorious comeback will electrify many more young racquetball enthusiests to play the marvelous game that is racquetball
Sudsy is also widely considered the greatest entertainer and personality of the sport. Many fans and promoters believe that Sudsy single-handedly changed the game of racquetball, making it popular with everyone from little kids to teenagers to grown men and women to even elderly. He is a legend and icon of the game, his face regularly appearing on racquets and other racquetball paraphernalia. He has been called the Tiger Woods of racquetball in countless articles and press releases.
Mark Teranze of Racquetball Magazine once said of Sudsy:
"The most dynamic competitor of this or any generation. His fiery intensity has never been matched, and for that his name will be etched into history. MJ had the tongue, Griffey had the swing, but Sudsy had the wink. He was electrifying, and seeing him play in person was like hearing a choir of angels. In short, Sudsy was magic."
