Studies in Language is an international peer-reviewed journal of linguistics as viewed from discourse-pragmatic, functional, and typological perspectives. It has been published by John Benjamins since 1977. Its managing editors are Prof. Bernard Comrie (University of California, Santa Barbara and Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology) and Prof. Michael Noonan (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee). Recent volumes (from 2000 on) are accessible online with subscription via IngentaJournals.
