Hi everyone who is going to read this. I'm Stokstaart, Dutch for Meerkat. I've been a contributor on the Dutch Wikipedia for a while and decided to go international, haha. Dutch wikipedia is a nice project, but Dutch culture places too much value on 'ones word' rather than references :P Hence I think the English language edition will suit my tastes more.

I like to think I'm good at English, but not fluent, and hope to become a valuable contributor. Feel free to correct my English mistakes.

I'm interested in many things but am not really an expert on anything, well with the possible exception of the Dutch language, which I studied. I'm not a man of numbers, science is 'far from my bed' as the Dutch would say, but more culture-orientated.
