Stoop Kid

Stoop Kid is a fictional character from the Nickelodeon animated television series Hey Arnold!. Stoop Kid's voice was done by Danny Cooksey, who also did the voice of Arnold's stepbrother. He was modeled after a man named Christopher Garnett Chisolm^[1],who reportedly never left the stoop at his house.

[edit] Origins of Stoop Kid

Stoop Kid appeared in the third episode of the first season, which was called "Stoop Kid". Stoop Kid lived on his stoop. According to another character, Iggy, he once punched someone for touching his stoop. He did not let anyone touch, look at, or go near his stoop, and he was known for having never left his stoop, as Arnold discovered when his football landed there. However, Stoop Kid did eventually learn to be comfortable harassing people from on AND off his stoop, with the aid of Arnold and The Little Engine That Could.

He also appeared in "Cool Party", where he had a cameo role , entering Arnold's "geek" party. He made another appearance in 'Chocolate Turtles', in which he was one of the people who ordered a box of chocolates, only to have his box eaten by Gerald's sister, Timberly (Stoop Kid is shown to be a softy, as he cries upon hearing Timberly's explanation and pays them despite not getting what he ordered).

1. An interview dated January 21, 2008 with Mama Chiz(Teresa Chisolm) it was stated that she would lock her son Chris Chisolm on the stoop for weeks a time.
