'Stoney End' is the 20th album released by Barbra Streisand. Released in 1971 it was a change in direction for Barbra with a more upbeat contemporary pop sound. The album reached Top 10 in America her first to do so in 5 years and was produced by legendary music producer Richard Perry.

The album hit Number 10 on the Billboard Top 200, where it was certified Platinum with sales of 1 million copies. In the UK the album entered the chart at Number 28. The album has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide.

The title track was released in the US and charted at number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 2 on the Adult Contemporary chart and in the UK also at number 27 in the UK singles chart.
Time and Love reached Number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 3 on the AC Chart
